Fresh Garden Salsa
Isn't that a pretty picture. Those were grown in our garden and used later to make salsa. We didn't grow the limes, cilantro, or garlic, but everything else we did. Actually, we don't have our own garden, but the neighbors let us plant in theirs. We were too worried the prairie dogs would eat a garden up. Next year we'll come up with some kind of fence, but for now we're grateful to the Andersens for letting us share with them. (And yes, this was taken before the frost. I've been meaning to blog it for awhile but haven't got around to it until now. At least it was me who blogged this time. I do feel guilty that this is my first blog in a month.)

How gorgeous is that plate with all of those colors! I LOVE salsa with some good chips! I hope it turned out to your liking...salsa can be tricky to get right...not too spicy...not spicy enough...
I am loving being back in touch after so many years!!
What a portrait of delicious food!
MMMMM....makes me want mexican food.
I'm so glad you found my blog! It's crazy because I had just lurked on yours (linked from Kaycee) like 2 days ago and wanted to comment but chickened out. I even told my husband about your surprise vacation and told him it was a VERY GOOD IDEA. Sadly I don't think I'll be getting any surprises like that in the near future.
Congrats on the boy (again:) We find out in a month and I'm still undecided on what I am hoping for.
I love salsa, I bet it tasted good.
Salsa, eh? That's nice, but I'll be more impressed when you grow a 1200 pound pumpkin, and then make 1200 pumpkin pies.
Anyhow, how much would you charge me to makeover my blog as nice as yours? Not too girly now, you know my taste.
Hey! I just noticed that you posted my pirate joke without permission! I think that is payment enough. You owe me one. Heehee.
